BUFFALO SOLDIERS OF MICHIGAN HONOR GUARD DUTY/HONOR
Purpose:
The purpose of the Honor Guard is to present an elite representation of the Buffalo Soldiers of Michigan Motor Cycle Club that provides ceremonial funeral honors for active members, retirees and veterans who served honorably in any branch of the United States Armed Forces as well as Law Enforcement and Fire. The Honor Guard also provides honors, presents colors and conducts ceremonies for civilian programs, parades and celebrations.
Honor Guard Soldiers:
The Honor Guard is comprised of veteran and non-veteran men and women who serve voluntarily without compensation and provide their own uniforms in accordance with the regulations established by the Buffalo Soldiers Honor Guard. Each is held to a high standard as outlined in the Honor Guard Code of Conduct. Upon acceptance into the Honor Guard members are required to take an Oath of Membership and go through a formal initiation. Honor Guard training consists of learning the drills, formations and commands necessary to fulfill the duties of the Honor Guard with precision and professionalism
